The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected thunderstorms of varying intensity in several provinces during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected, with hail and sometimes strong descending winds, in scattered areas of the deserts and highlands of Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Marib, Al-Jawf, Sana’a, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale’, Lahj, Al-Bayda, Sa’dah, Hajjah, Amran, Raymah, Al-Mahwit provinces, the plains , highlands of Tihama and the western coasts.

Varying intensity of rain is also expected, accompanied by thunder, in parts of Al-Mahra and the southern and eastern coasts.

The center warned citizens against being present or crossing flood paths during and after rainfall, and against thunderstorms, hail, rockfalls, mudslides and strong downward winds.

It also warned against reduced horizontal visibility due to rain or dense low clouds, especially on mo
untain slopes and foothills.

The National Center called on the relevant official authorities, each according to its location and jurisdiction, to take the necessary measures and procedures to protect lives , property , to follow up on the bulletins and reports issued by it.
