Al-Sabeen Directorate in the Capital Secretariat organized various meetings and events to celebrate and rejoice the Prophet’s Birthday anniversary, and to prepare and mobilize for the largest central celebration in Al-Sabeen Square.
The directorate held an expanded preparatory meeting for political elites, businessmen, commercial establishments and educational leaders, in the presence of Shura Council members Saleh Binun, Ghalib al-Bakir, Hashim al-Saqqaf and Muhammad al-Nasiri, undersecretaries of the Capital , Ali al-Qafari, Ayed al-Shamiri , Muhammad al-Wahishi, assistants Ismail al-Jarmuzi and Abdullah Muharrem, directorate director, Muhammad al-Washli, and local secretary of Sabeen, Muhammad al-Sadiq.
In the meeting, the head of the cultural department at the Defense Ministry, Hussein al-Jubin, and a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Allama Fuad Naji, reviewed the significance of celebrating the birth anniversary of the Messenger of God.
He explained the importance of commemorating this relig
ious occasion as a message of assurance to the world of the strength of the Yemeni people’s attachment to their Prophet and their close adherence to him.
The director of neighborhood affairs in Al-Sabeen, Hamid Hisham, explained that the birth of Al-Mustafa – peace be upon him and his family – represented the beginning of taking the nation out of the worship of stones to the worship of God alone.
He stressed that the celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday is a faithful image to glorify the nation’s Prophet, to recall his fragrant biography and his jihad in raising the word of God , Islam banner , confronting the tyrants of polytheism and hypocrisy.
The Health and Environment Office in Al-Sabeen district also organized an expanded meeting for health and pharmaceutical staff in the district on this great occasion, in the presence of the head of the Jihadist Culture Department, Hussein Al-Jubin, the director of the directorate, Mohammed Al-Washli, and health leaders and staff.
For their part, the people of Al
-Sabeen district celebrated the birthday of the Great Prophet – may Allah bless him and his family – by holding many evenings and festive events in various neighborhoods and districts, which expressed their love , reverence for their beloved Prophet and their adherence to him and following his example.
The celebrations, which enjoyed wide official and popular participation, included speeches and a variety cultural paragraphs that emphasized the importance of commemorating the memory of the best of the wilderness, the Messenger of humanity and the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and following his example.
