Meeting chaired by Minister Bajaala discusses tasks of Advisory Committee on Social Protection

The Advisory Committee on Social Protection, chaired by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Bajaala, discussed today’s topics related to the tasks of the committee and the strategic framework for protection in light of social and economic changes.

In the meeting, which included the ministry’s leaders, Minister Bajaala stressed the importance of the role of the advisory committee and raising its efficiency to carry out the tasks entrusted to it in a way that reflects the directions of the leadership and the government of change and construction.

He pointed out that the priorities of action should be based on the interest of society, achieving sustainable development, preserving gains and bringing about positive change.

The meeting approved the formation of a small committee to rebuild and design the strategy for social protection following the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the priorities of the government, and in accordance with the tasks a
nd competencies of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
