The Maritime Affairs Authority organized a speech event on Monday in Sana’a to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

At the event, which was attended by Supreme Political Council member Mohammed Saleh al-Nuaimi, Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim stressed the importance of celebrating the Prophet’s Birthday, which Yemenis used to commemorate as an expression of their love for the Prophet, as did their ancestors from Aws and Khazraj, who supported the Messenger of Allah and stood by him since the beginning of the call.

During the event, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Works Yahya Al-Sayani and Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyed, Minister Qahim pointed to Yemen’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinians in light of the failure of some Arab regimes to fulfill their duty towards the Palestinian cause.

Salah Al-Wazir, Director of Administrative Affairs at the Maritime Affairs Authority, discussed the greatness
of this occasion and the importance of drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).

For his part, Allama Saleh al-Khawlani referred to the greatness of this solemn occasion and the importance of consolidating the love of the Messenger of Allah in building a great Qur’anic nation.

“This occasion expresses the unity of the Islamic nation and its love for the Prophet, who was sent as a mercy to the world,” he said. He called on everyone to participate in the central celebration on the Prophet’s Birthday occasion .
