MAHWET – SABA: Mahweet University and the educational sector in the province organized a celebration on Tuesday for the Prophet’s birthday anniversary. Ali Abdulkarim, the deputy for education affairs, emphasized the event as an opportunity to strengthen the connection with the Prophet and draw lessons from his teachings.
He highlighted the celebration’s role in reinforcing principles of solidarity and compassion. Dr. Muhammad al-Shalabi, President of Mahweet University, noted that celebrating the Prophet’s birth is a way to honor his blessings and express joy and gratitude. He stressed the strong bond between Yemenis and the Prophet, acknowledging their historical support.
The speeches underscored the importance of this anniversary in fostering national cohesion, solidarity, and the pursuit of moral and spiritual advancement by emulating the Prophet’s example. Attendees were encouraged to actively participate in the central celebration at the governorate center.
