Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead on Wednesday morning by Israeli forces while reporting on an Israeli raid in the occupied West Bank town of Jenin, the television network has said. Palestinian reporters at the scene said they had been fired at by Israeli forces, and saw Abu Akleh fall to the ground after being shot.
