A meeting in Sana’a Governorate on Wednesday, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, discussed the level of project implementation in the governorate.

The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Administration for the Local Plans and Budgets Sector, Mohammed Al-Sanhani, and the directors of the concerned executive offices, reviewed the ongoing projects, the projects under implementation and the unimplemented projects, and the difficulties facing the implementation process.

The meeting stressed the importance of addressing difficulties and exploiting what is approved in the implementation of projects, in a way that meets the aspirations of citizens and alleviates their suffering.

The meeting tasked the concerned service offices to quickly prepare the closure of the projects of 21-44-1445 AH in coordination with the Planning and Finance Offices, and in accordance with the forms prepared by the Ministry of Local Administration and the Executi
ve Office of the National Vision, with the need to accommodate the observations contained in the governorate plan for the year 1446 AH.

The meeting stressed the need for all concerned offices to complete the implementation of projects under implementation within the specified periods for each project.

They agreed to hold a meeting with the directors of the directorates to discuss the suspended projects as a result of the delay in community contribution by the beneficiaries of the projects in a number of directorates, and to develop appropriate solutions to overcome them.

They also agreed to send an alert to the executing authorities of the projects that have deficiencies in implementation, and urged them to speed up implementation according to the specified girls, specifications and technical studies required.

At the meeting, the Secretary-General urged everyone to feel responsible when implementing service and development projects and work to strengthen the role of the local authority and the concerned a
uthorities in providing services to citizens and alleviating their suffering in appreciation and gratitude for their steadfastness and steadfastness in the face of aggression.

He stressed the keenness of the governorate’s leadership and its interest in water, roads and health projects as a priority to alleviate the suffering of citizens, especially in rural areas far from the center of the governorate.
