Kuwait Stock Exchange’s general index closed its trading today with a decrease of 7.5 points, reaching a level of 7,007.99 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent.
A total of 165.4 million shares were traded in 10,456 cash transactions with a value of KD 38.7 million (approximately USD 118 million).
The Main Market Index rose by 3.5 points to reach a level of 5,724.91 points, an increase of 0.06 percent, with a trading volume of 89.4 million shares in 3,975 cash transactions with a value of KD 11.6 million (approximately USD 35.3 million).
Meanwhile, the first market index fell by 11.7 points, reaching a level of 7,686.58 points, a decrease of 0.15 percent, with a trading volume of 76 million shares in 6,481 transactions with a value of KD 27.12 million (approximately USD 82.7 million).
The bourse Main 50 Index increased by 5.3 points to reach a level of 5,675.44 points, an increase of 0.09 percent, with a trading volume of 68.6 million shares in 2,770 cash transactions with a value of KD 10.3 million (approximately USD 31.4 million).
