Jordan is proceeding with the economic reform agenda “without interruption” in enabling the national economy to grow, facilitating access to financing, the flexibility of the labour market and attracting foreign investment, said the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), Adel Sharkas.

At a Yarmouk University graduation ceremony on Monday, Sharkas urged younger Jordanians to be “aware and prepared” to face world challenges amid “unfavourable international economic conditions with wisdom and intelligence,” adding that the future of the global economy is moving toward digital transformation, financial technology, artificial intelligence and the green economy.
