The Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Capital Secretariat, Muhammad Jamaan, inspected today,Wednesday, the work progress on the project to restore Al-Batoul Street and secondary streets in Al-Sabeen District, at a cost of 200 million and 730 thousand riyals, funded by the local authority.

Jamaan, accompanied by the Undersecretary for the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, was briefed on the asphalt restorations being implemented on Al-Batoul Street , four side streets in Al-Maqaleh neighborhood and the areas targeted within the restoration project.

They heard from the project engineer, Ibrahim Sabr, an explanation about the completion rate, which reached 50 percent, the level of implementation of restoration work in the targeted streets in Al-Sabeen District, and the efforts made to complete the project.

The local mayor of the capital urged the engineers to increase the pace of work and quickly complete the restoration and rehabilitation work of the streets in accordanc
e with the technical and engineering specifications, in a way that contributes to preserving the road network and facilitating traffic movement.
