Israeli settlers provoke Palestinians near Bethlehem

Israeli settlers today provoked and attacked Palestinians in the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem, according to a youth activist.

Youth activist, Mustafa al-Badan, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers gathered near the entrance to the Tekoa settlement, provoking citizens and blocking the roads.

During the past three days, Israeli settlers have escalated their attacks against Palestinians and their properties in al-Khader and Tuqu’ towns.

Israeli settlers’ vandalism in the occupied West Bank is routine and is done with full backing by the Israeli authorities, said the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem.
