Baghdad: Lebanese media reported that violent Israeli bombing targeted several towns in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Al-Manar channel reported: ‘Israeli aircraft bombed with phosphorus bombs the towns of Kafr Kila, Al-Khiam, and Tallet Al-Azziyah in southern Lebanon.’

The Lebanese News Agency said that the Israeli bombing targeted the town of Kafr Kila and al-Hura area between Kafr Kila and Dermamas with artillery shells, which led to a power outage in neighboring towns. An Israeli raid also targeted the town of Aitaroun.

Battles have been continuing in southern Lebanon between Hezbollah on the one hand and the Israeli army on the other, for more than 8 months, and operations are expanding on a daily basis along the southern border from Ras al-Naqoura to Shebaa Farms, and have led to a lot of damage to infrastructure, lands, and crops, and the displacement of nearly 90,000 Lebanese citizens moved from border villages to safer areas.
