SALFIT: The Israeli occupation authorities notified the seizure of 14 dunums of Palestinian land in the towns of Haris and Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit.
Settlement activist Nazmi Al-Salman said that the occupation authorities delivered a military order to seize 14 dunums of land. The seizure decision is valid for four years until 2028, and citizens can object within a period of only 7 days.
Al-Salman said this decision came in favor of expanding the illegal colony of Kiryat Netafim located east of Qarawat Bani Hassan. The colony has witnessed extensive construction work in recent months, and the colonial residential units can be seen to the right of the main street that connects the western region of Salfit governorate.
