JERUSALEM: The occupation municipality in Jerusalem notified on Monday the demolition of 37 homes and a commercial structure in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Jerusalem governorate said that the occupation authorities issued demolition notices against 37 homes and a commercial structure in the neighborhoods of Silwan, as part of the Judaization plan of the occupation municipality for the infrastructure to pave a colonial street.

The number of demolitions in the Jerusalem governorate since the first of September until the eighth reached 307 demolition and bulldozing operations, and the occupation authorities justify the demolition of homes in general on the pretext that they were built without a permit.
