Israeli forces attack Palestinians in Nabi Saleh village following funeral of slain toddler, injuries reported

A Palestinian youth was shot and injured in the foot and another was struck in the face with a rubber-coated steel bullet during confrontations that broke out today in the village of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah, following the funeral procession of slain toddler Mohammed Tamimi, according to a local activist. Hundreds of people participated today in the funeral of three-year-old Mohammad Haitham Tamimi who died yesterday four days after being shot in the head by Israeli soldiers in his village of Nabi Saleh. A local anti-settlement and anti-wall activist said two youths were transferred to hospital after being shot and injured by Israeli forces in the said village. Their health condition was described as moderate. Forces also attacked the village residents with a barrage of tear gas canisters and stun grenades, causing dozens to suffocate.
