Israeli colonists rehabilitate water springs in the northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY: Israeli colonists continued to work to rehabilitate a number of water springs in the northern Jordan Valley.

The official responsible for the settlement file in Tubas Governorate, Moataz Bisharat, said that the ‘Our Land’ colonial movement has been continuing for hours to rehabilitate a number of water springs in Khirbet al-Deir in the northern Jordan Valley in order to turn them into a resort and park for the colonists.

Bisharat added that the colonists seized a number of water springs and destroyed the water pumps that local residents used to irrigate their crops in the area.

Khirbet al-Deir area has been witnessing attacks by the colonists against Palestinians and their properties, under the protection of the occupation police.
