Israeli colonists cause power outage in Yasouf village

SALFIT: Israeli colonists caused a power outage this evening in the village of Yasouf, located in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources.

Wael Abu Madi, the head of the Yasouf Village Council, stated in a phone call with WAFA that colonists from the Tappuah settlement, built on local land, vandalized the electrical room supplying power to the village located at the eastern entrance. This act resulted in the loss of electricity for the entire village.

Abu Madi noted that Yasouf has been facing continuous assaults from colonists, which include attacks on residents, preventing them from accessing their lands, closing the main entrance to the village, and causing power cuts multiple times.

Earlier in the day, a group of colonists from the same settlement attacked farmers from Yasouf while they were harvesting olives west of the village, throwing stones at them and injuring one farmer in the head.
