Israeli army announces the start of a ground operation in southern Lebanon
The Israeli army announced the start of a “limited” ground operation in southern Lebanon according to the decision of the political level.
The Israeli army spokesman said: “The army forces have started a concentrated military operation in southern Lebanon, in conjunction with an ongoing operation in the Gaza Strip and other arenas.”
The official Israeli radio reported: “Naval and air forces are ready to intervene if necessary.”
