Baghdad: Iraq Special Ops forces arrested two wanted persons on charges of drug trade and use in Babylon and Maysan.
The Iraq Special Ops stated in a statement: ‘The forces of the Second Brigade arrested a person wanted by the judiciary against whom an arrest warrant was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of drugs in Babylon Governorate, in cooperation with the Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in Babylon, and in coordination with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department, and the wanted person was handed over to the competent authorities.’
The statement added: ‘The forces of the Fourth Brigade arrested a person wanted by the judiciary in the city of Amara, in cooperation with the Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate, and in cooperation with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department, and the wanted person was handed over to the requesting party.
