Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani discussed on Monday with Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari means to enhance joint economic, military, and intelligence cooperation.

The Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that the two sides discussed facilitating Pakistanis visits to the holy sites in Iraq and file of Pakistani workers in Iraq. They also mulled cooperation in the transport field.

Al-Sudani agreed to resume the work of the joint ministerial committee.

Earlier, the Pakistani minister held talks with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussain, in which he signed a memorandum of understanding to exempt holders of diplomatic passports in the two countries from entry visas.
