The Industrial Cities Authority affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals discussed ways of cooperation with the Egyptian side in the field of establishing industrial cities projects.
A statement by the Ministry of Industry stated that “the Director General of the Industrial Cities Authority, Hamid Awad Muhammad, discussed with the Egyptian Ambassador, Walid Muhammad Ismail, frameworks for joint cooperation in the field of establishing and developing industrial cities in Iraq, in the presence of the Egyptian Deputy Ambassador, the Commercial Adviser of the Egyptian Embassy in Baghdad, and a number of officials in the Authority.”
The meeting also discussed, according to the statement, the activity of industrial cities in Iraq and the available investment opportunities in this field, and a discussion of the Egyptian side’s desire to work with the ministry to establish and develop industrial cities and establish joint cities in the interest of the two brotherly countries./ End
