Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein discussed with the Minister of the Omani Royal Office Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Nu’mani in Muscat ways to develop trade and economic exchange and enhance investment opportunities between the two countries.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Hussein met with Al-Nu’mani, and discussed with him relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation to reduce the negative security impacts resulting from the deterioration of the security situation in the region as a result of the repercussions of the aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed, according to the statement, that settling regional conflicts would enhance opportunities for peace and stability in the region.

According to the statement, ways to develop trade and economic exchange and enhance investment opportunities between the two countries were discussed.

For his part, Al-Nu’mani expressed his gratitude fo
r achieving this visit at this important time, stressing the endeavor to enhance joint cooperation with the Republic of Iraq.
