Iraq and Egypt discussed the obstacles facing Iraqi students in Egypt and the problem of delayed complementary procedures.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Iraqi Ambassador to Cairo, Permanent Representative to the Arab League , Qahtaan Taha Khalaf, met with the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ayman Ashour, at the ministry’s headquarters in the administrative capital.
According to the statement, the meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of files related to academic cooperation and scientific research, and ways to enhance bilateral relations in various scientific fields.
The two sides also discussed, according to the statement, the obstacles facing Iraqi students studying in Egypt, with a focus on the problem of delayed complementary procedures, and working to overcome those obstacles. The discussions also touched on ways to enhance academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and their Egyptian counterparts, and open new areas of cooper
ation between the two sides.
