Sana’a Governorate Advisor Abdullah al-Marouni inspected today a number of community initiative projects being implemented in Manakhah District.

Al-Marouni, accompanied by the directors of the governor’s office Saddam al-Fasih and community initiatives Eng. Mohammed al-Nizari and the representative of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance in the governorate Eng. Mohammed Bishr, reviewed the progress of work on the initiative project to pave the road from al-Ar al-Jaw – al-Maazib, al-Thulth district, which is being implemented by a community initiative.

The project, which is three kilometers long and four meters wide, is being implemented by a community initiative and with the support of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit at a cost of 50 million and 948 thousand riyals, with diesel and cement at a rate of 25 percent for the interventions unit and 75 percent for the beneficiaries, serving more than two thousand people from the region and neighboring villages.

The progress
of the project of the initiative to pave the road of Al-Haramah – Al-Muazab – Gharaba, in the Lahab district, which is five kilometers long and four meters wide, connecting the governorates of Al-Hodeidah and Sana’a, was also reviewed. The project, which costs 56 million riyals, is being implemented by the initiative of the residents and with the support of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit, and is represented by the “bucklin” road.
