The General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs’ Families in Al-Dhale’, Lahj and Shabwa provinces launched a school bag distribution project for all martyrs’ children and missing persons for the academic year 1446 AH.

At the inauguration, in Damt District, the Acting Governor of Al-Dhale’, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, stressed the importance of supporting and encouraging the martyrs’ families who sacrificed their lives in defense of land, honour, dignity and sovereignty as the least duty offered to their families of what they sacrificed for the pride of the nation.

Al-Shaghdari praised the role provided by the Authority in terms of care and attention to the martyrs’ families in many activities and events.

While the Director of the Authority’s branch, Muhammad Al-Ghorbani, explained that an in-kind bag will be distributed to some directorates and cash to other directorates.

He pointed out that the bag project comes within a number of projects implemented by the Authority in fulfillment and gratitude for the
martyrs’ sacrifices and their giving in the name of God and in defense of the homeland and its sovereignty.
