The Babylon Police Command announced today, Sunday, that it had carried out a qualitative operation in the Kurdistan region, which included of arresting a person who killed a lawyer a few months ago and then fled to the Kurdistan region.
The Police Chief of Babylon, Brigadier General Ali Al-Hasnawi, said, ‘A force from the Babylon Anti-crime force in Al-Sawb Al-Saghir and the Anti-crime police in the Abu Gharq district arrested and transferred the accused who killed the lawyer Ammar Hatem from Erbil to Babylon and handed him over to the competent authorities.’
He added that the operation was carried out in cooperation with the security leaders in the Kurdistan region.
