The Women’s Cultural Committee in Ibb province held a preparatory event on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday and to express solidarity with Gaza.

The event featured speeches emphasizing the significance of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday as a moment to reflect on his exemplary life and to strengthen resilience against forces of oppression.

The attendees were urged to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s teachings and to participate actively in the central celebrations planned for the twelfth of Rabi’ al-Awwal.

In addition to the event, the General Women’s Cultural Authority organized a demonstration condemning recent Zionist actions, including the burning of the Holy Quran and the desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque.

The vigil featured passionate chants and speeches denouncing the Zionist attacks on Islamic sanctities and expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.

Participants highlighted the Yemeni people’s commitment to defending Palestinians and condemn
ed the international and UN silence on the ongoing violence.

They called for increased resistance and criticized the lack of action from Arab and Islamic nations as well as support from Western countries for the Zionist agenda.

The statement issued at the vigil reaffirmed solidarity with the Palestinian people and resistance movements, denouncing global inaction and expressing support for Gaza’s resistance against the Zionist aggression.
