A meeting in Hajjah, headed by the Director of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Alan Fadhail, discussed the role of humanitarian partners in responding to those affected by floods.

The meeting, which included representatives of humanitarian partners in the governorate, addressed the damage to the directorates and camps for the displaced, main and secondary roads, agricultural terraces and lands on the banks of valleys, water and health sectors, reasons for the delayed response, and providing the needs of those affected.

During the meeting, Fadhail explained that the number of affected families exceeded 10,408 families; including 4,000 families completely affected, 209 families almost completely affected, and 249 families in need of urgent intervention to move them from the flood path to safe places, in addition to 5,438 families partially affected in light of the delayed response of partners.
