The branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hajjah province on Wednesday hosted a cultural event in honor of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

Governor’s Deputy Mohammed al-Qadhi highlighted the significance of the Prophet’s birth anniversary, emphasizing the need to prepare and celebrate on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal in a manner fitting for the greatness of the Prophet.

He called the commemoration a moment to rekindle faith, reverence, and connection with the Prophet, while also reinforcing support for al-Aqsa and the oppressed in Gaza.

Director of the Supreme Council Alan Fadhayel underscored the event’s role in reviving souls and reinforcing the faith connection with the Prophet and his teachings.

Fadhayel stressed the occasion’s importance for believers to affirm their allegiance to the Prophet’s mercy rather than Western symbols, which he claims lead to misguided paths.

Member of the Yemeni S
cholars Association Hussein Jahaf spoke about the Prophet’s revered status and his special connection with Yemen.

He noted that commemorating the Prophet’s birth strengthens faith identity and reinforces Quranic values, citing the Yemeni support for Gaza as a testament to their commitment to divine and Muhammadan guidance.
