Human Rights Ministry organizes workshop to assess conditions of childhood & embody protection mechanisms

The Ministry of Human Rights organized a training workshop for field teams to assess childhood conditions and embody protection mechanisms among Bilal’s grandchildren and street children.

The field teams target the gatherings of Bilal’s grandchildren in Amanat Al-Asimah, Al-Hodeida, and Dhamar, to see the reality of the children and determine their priorities.

The workshop was devoted to training field teams on the technique of questionnaire and data collection.

At the opening of the workshop, Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dailami stressed the importance of the field teams collecting data accurately in a way that contributes to a realistic assessment of the conditions of childhood among the target groups.

He stressed the need to take into account the privacy of these groups, and the best understanding of the problem and the causes in order to be able to address it.

Al-Dailami considered this study an introduction to the projects that the Ministry seeks to achieve, and that they will spare no effort in taking care of these groups and meeting their needs, in coordination with the relevant government agencies.
