The Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum organized on Wednesday in Sana’a a protest to condemn the Israeli aggression that targeted a number of civilian objects in Hodeida Governorate last Saturday.

The participants in the sit-in, which was attended by the head of the High Elections Committee, Judge Mohamed Salmi and a number of officials, condemned the Israeli aggression’s targeting of the power station that feeds the city of Hodeidah and provides them with electricity services as well as fuel tanks in the port of Hodeida.

A statement issued by the vigil to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the armed forces and the Yemeni people blessed the unprecedented historical achievement represented in the qualitative operation that targeted the Zionist entity in its home in the occupied Palestinian city of “Jaffa” called “Tel Aviv”.

It pointed out that the Israeli aggression against the Republic of Yemen imposes on all the sons of the nation serious movement to suppo
rt the Palestinian cause, reject Israeli aggression and victory for the oppressed in the Gaza Strip, stressing full readiness for the options that may be required by the stage in support of the Palestinian people, and in defense of the Republic of Yemen and the gains of the Yemeni people.

The statement considered the Israeli enemy’s targeting of fuel stores in the port of Hodeidah and the power station a flagrant violation of international norms and laws, and a war crime that will not be subject to statute of limitations.
