The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported today, Sunday, that the Israeli army has begun to impose the approval of senior commanders to use shells and other means of combat due to the decline in ammunition stocks.

It added: “The army has raised the leadership level to approve the use of heavy weapons in light of the ban on arms exports to Israel.”

It continued: “There is fear and concern in the security establishment about Israel’s ability to obtain arms shipments.
