Handover between head of province’s Appeals Court , his predecessor and successor in Taiz

In Taiz province , a handover session took on Wednesday place between the head of the province’s Court of Appeal, Judge Abdulaziz Al-Sufi, and his successor, Judge Fawaz Al-Maqtari.

During the handover, in the presence of the head of the provincial prosecution, Judge Abdul Raqib Al-Majidi, the director general of the court, Arhab Jamil, and members of the judiciary in the province, Judge Al-Sufi congratulated Judge Al-Maqtari on his assumption of the presidency of Taiz Court of Appeals for the next phase, wishing him success in his tasks , upgrading the judiciary and achieving the justice that everyone seeks.

“We did what we could and should do, under exceptional circumstances imposed by the aggression on everyone, to start a new phase of change and construction,” he said, noting that despite the difficult circumstances, work continued at the provincial Court of Appeals and justice services were provided to the people.

For his part, Judge Al-Maqtari praised the efforts of Judge Abdulaziz Al-Sufi during hi
s tenure as head of the province’s appeal despite the difficult circumstances faced by the judiciary in the province.

He pointed out that during the stage of change and construction, the provincial appeals court will pay great attention to achieving justice and seeking to translate the revolutionary and judicial leadership directives , in order to achieve justice and bring it closer to the citizens.
