The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Umrah Affairs confirmed that it has followed all procedures related to the arrival of Yemeni pilgrims and facilitated everything that would serve the guests of God within the framework of its responsibilities and role in this aspect.

The Ministry of Guidance explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the Ministry’s efforts collided with many obstacles and difficulties imposed by the Saudi regime in preventing the Sacred Mosque and politicizing the rituals of Hajj with the aim of depriving the guests of God from performing the Hajj obligation.

The statement said, “The Saudi regime worked to change the agreed-upon air transport plans and reduce the number of passengers and flights approved for the Republic of Yemen, which in turn will lead to great difficulties and obstacles to the transportation of pilgrims to the Holy House of God.”

It pointed out that the Saudi regime is still obstructing and delaying the issuance of the necessary permits an
d visas for the air transportation of Yemeni pilgrims to the Holy House of God, despite the limited time and the limited airlines allowed to operate in the country and the necessity of completing such procedures earlier and earlier.

The Ministry of Guidance statement stated that the Saudi regime canceled flights designated for Yemeni pilgrims to Medina via Sana’a International Airport and restricted flights via Jeddah International Airport in an additional step to make their transportation difficult and increase costs for them without any justification.

It added, “The Saudi regime instructed its mercenary tools in the occupied city of Aden to obstruct the procedures and increase their difficulty for the Yemenis, at times, by creating illegal bank accounts – other than the official accounts belonging to Yemen Airways in all banks in Yemen – and created by an incompetent party for the purpose of plundering the funds of pilgrims and airlines.” Together, and demanding the supply of pilgrims’ money through these
banks, in clear violation of the procedures in place according to the official mechanism for supplying through Yemeni Airlines accounts, and at other times procrastination and delay in completing the procedures required of them for the purpose of wasting time.’

The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Umrah Affairs held the Saudi regime responsible for any delay, obstruction, or prevention caused by the actions taken by it and its mercenaries for Yemeni pilgrims, calling on the Saudi regime to commit to implementing previously approved agreements and facilitating efforts to send Yemeni pilgrims to perform the Hajj rituals.
