Gaza: 15 Palestinians killed in Israeli drone strike north of Gaza

Fifteen Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Red Crescent said that three people were killed and others were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians in the town of Beit Lahia.

According to medical sources, 12 civilians were killed in the occupation’s artillery shelling of the displaced people at Abu Al-Jidyan junction in the Beit Lahia project.

The Israeli occupation continues its siege of the northern Gaza Strip, destroying and bombing homes, preventing the entry of food supplies for the 18th consecutive day, and forcing citizens to forcibly move, as more than 10,000 citizens in the Beit Lahia project refuse to move to the south.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023, has risen to 42,603 reported fatalities, with an additional 99,759 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of
the victims are women and children.

According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.
