Four Palestinians suffered injuries tonight in an attack by Israeli settlers on Palestinian vehicles at the north entrance to the city of Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian security sources said. According to the sources, rampaging Israeli settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles as they crossed the Israeli military checkpoint of Beit El, at the north entrance to the city, lightly injuring four Palestinian passengers and causing damage to vehicles. Meantime, groups of Israeli settlers gathered at Ein Ayyub junction, near the village of Ras Karkar in the Ramallah province, and embarked on attacking Palestinian vehicles driving though the junction, causing damage to some of them. There has been a noticeable rise in Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their properties across the occupied West Bank over the past week. The Israeli occupation army has been turning a blind eye to most of these terror acts.
