Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met on Tuesday with head of the Qatar Red Crescent Society Office in Sana’a Eng. Ahmed al-Sharaji to review the organization’s humanitarian activities in Yemen.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the Qatar Red Crescent Office for their vital role in delivering emergency aid to Yemen, thereby easing the humanitarian crisis stemming from the aggression and siege.

He expressed particular concern for the recent floods impacting the provinces of Hodeida, Hajjah, Mahweet, and Dhamar, and requested increased support for these areas.

In return, Eng. al-Sharaji assured that the Qatar Red Crescent is committed to providing necessary aid and expressed a desire for continued collaboration with Yemeni partners to address the needs of those affected.
