SANAA – SABA: Today, the Women and Children Culture Sector of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held a speaking event to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
At the event, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, emphasized that the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth serves as a pivotal educational opportunity to instill the Prophet’s values and ethics, may God bless him and grant him peace, and to embody his virtues in the consciousness of the youth.
“Today, we comprehend the rationale behind the claims that celebrating the Prophet’s birthday is heretical. It stems from a desire to detach people from the Prophet’s biography, the culture of prophecy, and the culture of faith, while upholding the values propagated by the West,” he explained.
