Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed today, Sunday, with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the crimes of “genocide committed by Israel in the Palestinian territories” in addition to regional and global issues.

According to a statement by the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Department, Erdogan stressed the importance of increasing international pressure on Israel to stop the crimes against humanity it is committing in the Palestinian territories, especially in the Gaza Strip.

The Turkish President also stressed the need to stop Israeli attacks and human rights violations, in addition to reaching a permanent ceasefire.

In conjunction with its war on Gaza since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has expanded its operations in the West Bank, while settlers have escalated their attacks, resulting in the martyrdom of 676 Palestinians, including 150 children, the injury of more than 5,400, and the arrest of more than 10,200, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

With full Ame
rican support, Israel is waging a war on Gaza, resulting in more than 134,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of dozens, in one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.
