In celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary, the General Authority for Endowments hosted a special ceremony on Sunday to honor the orphans of Dar al-Rufaqa.

The event, part of the third phase of the “And Cooperate in Righteousness and Piety” project, was funded with a significant budget of four billion riyals.

Held in Sana’a, the ceremony featured remarks by Abdullah Allaw, Vice Chairman of the General Authority for Endowments. Allaw emphasized the occasion as a moment to reflect on Prophet Muhammad’s values and called for collective responsibility in supporting orphans and those in need.

He highlighted the Authority’s annual “And Cooperate in Righteousness and Piety” project, which supports orphans, the blind, cancer and kidney failure patients, and the poor across various governorates.

Mohammed al-Dhabyani, Deputy for Student Affairs at Dar al-Rufaq, also spoke, praising the Endowments Authority’s charitable efforts and stressing the importance of embodying the Prophet’s values in all aspects
of life.

The ceremony concluded with gifts and symbolic financial support for 75 orphans from Dar al-Rufaq. Additionally, Allaw was briefed on the services provided by the home and discussed the needs to improve the care and conditions of the orphans.
