Economy, Industry and Investment Minister Moeen Al-Mahakri and Finance Minister Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Mohammed were briefed on Thursday on work progress at Kamran Industrial and Investment Company factory in Al-Hodeida.
During the visit, the Economy and Finance Ministers , accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for the Industry Sector, Ayman Al-Khalqi, and the province Governor, Mohammed Halisi, listened to an explanation from the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, Mohammed Al-Dawla, and the factory Director, Ibrahim Hamadi, about the work progress in the factory and plans for development and modernization.
The two ministers praised the work level in the factory , the efforts and steps taken by the company to overcome difficulties and increase the company’s products market share.
The Industry and Finance Ministers were also briefed on the factory’s 1 MW solar power plant, which has contributed to saving operating costs.
The two ministers also visited the Ikhwan Thabit Food In
dustries Complex in Hodeida and praised the manufacturing activity in the complex, which continued despite the challenges it faced as a result of the aggression and blockade.
