Diyala Provincial Council Chairman Omar Al-Karwi confirmed that the next stage will be full of important changes and reforms that will improve the performance of the local government and serve the citizen in the best possible way.
He told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that ‘Diyala Council will exercise its supervisory role over all institutions and directorates within the administrative borders of Diyala Governorate after forming committees to implement their supervisory tasks.’
For his part, Salem Al-Tamimi, Deputy Chairman of Diyala Council, indicated that ‘the spirit of one team will be present during the next stage in order to address all the obstacles and problems that Diyala Governorate suffers from, which contributes to pushing the wheel of reconstruction forward in line with the aspirations of the citizen in the governorate.
