Hajjah branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs launched on Wednesday the first phase of distributing cash assistance to those affected by the floods in Abs district.

The distribution, which comes as part of the emergency response to those affected by the floods and is implemented by the Sustainable Development Foundation, targets 1,850 beneficiaries, including 628 beneficiaries in the first phase.

At the launch, the director of the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the province, Alan Fadayel, explained that the distribution aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the floods and comes as part of the emergency response.
