A meeting at the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, headed by the Minister of Transport in the caretaker government, Abdul Wahab Al-Durrah, discussed on Tuesday efforts to improve navigation services and the sectors operating performance in the port of Hodeidah.

The meeting, which included Hodeida Governor , Muhammad Qahim, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Muhammad Al-Hashemi, and the head of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, discussed developments related to the Israeli aggression targeting Hodeida port , avoiding the effects , repercussions of this attack on the conduct of the operational process and the continued reception of ships.

Transport Minister praised the efforts of the leadership and employees of the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the entities operating in the port to overcome the existing challenges and ensure the continuation of work with all partners in maritime and commercial activity, despite the aggression and blockade that the ports were subjected to.

He stressed that the reck
less Israeli aggression will not prevent us from carrying out responsibilities , carrying out duties, working at a high pace to avoid what the enemies aim to obstruct the services of the Red Sea ports and try to disrupt the operational path in terms of capabilities and equipment.

For his part, Hodeida Governor appreciated the effective efforts made by the Transport Ministry , the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the sectors operating in the Hodeida port to improve the services of navigational and commercial activities and to embody the optimal image of ports performance , which represent the main artery of the country.

While the head of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, explained that Hodeida port is operating at maximum capacity , in a safe manner, and that work crews are continuing their efforts to remove the waste resulting from the bombing of the Zionist aggression.

After that, the Transport Minister in the caretaker government, Abdul Wahab Al-Durrah, and the Chairman of the Ports Corporation
, Zaid Al-Washli, were briefed on the operational process at the port and the docking berths.

They listened to an explanation from the Engineering Department and the contractor of the Pier No. 5 rehabilitation and maintenance project, about the level of project implementation.

Al-Durra urged those in charge of the project to adhere to the specifications, quality of work, and timetable for delivery according to the contract signed between the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and the implementing contractor.
