Basra The technical and engineering cadres of the Iraqi Drilling Company began today, Thursday, the operations of drilling the D-86 directional oil well in Al-Gharraf oil field.
The company’s media said in a statement that drilling the oil well, which has a depth of 4240 meters and a deflection angle of 64 degrees, will be carried out using the IDC 58 drilling rig with a horsepower of 2000 HP.
He added: This well is the deepest in the contract with the Malaysian Petronas Company to drill 28 directional oil wells in Al-Gharraf oil field.
