The Deputy Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Mahthari, inspected on Wednesday the summer courses in the closed centers in Al-Ta’iziyah district in Taiz province.
He listened to an explanation from those in charge of the summer courses about the nature of summer activities and programs and the sciences students receive in various fields.
The Deputy Minister of Planning stated that his visit to the governorate comes within the framework of implementing the National Resilience Program to find out the needs and conditions of society, in coordination with the local authority.
He stressed the importance of redoubling efforts in implementing community initiatives, and businessmen playing an active role in this aspect, which contributes to providing services to citizens and alleviating their suffering in light of the difficult circumstances the country is going through.
He was accompanied during the visit by the director of the planning office in the governorate and a number of stakeholders.
