The President of the Iraqi Football Association “Adnan Darjal” met with the players of our Olympic team participating in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in the presence of the Second Vice President of the Association “Younis Mahmoud” and the coaching staff of the team, where he urged them to provide more giving in their match with Moroccan Olympic team in their third match in the group.
The President of the Association stressed: Our team has a chance to qualify, and hope has not been cut off in recording the best result by reaching the next stage.
The President of the Association asked the players of our team to forget their match against Argentina, motivating them to do everything they have in the decisive match against Morocco with the aim of obtaining the qualification card from the second group, which will take place next Tuesday in the third round.
The President of the Associations stated: Achieving a positive result and snatching the ticket to the next stage of the football competition in the Olympics
will have a positive impact on the fans who are waiting for joy from our players, since the Iraqi fans are in France and support and back our team, and the upcoming match against Morocco will be the decisive factor in confirming the worthiness of Iraqi football at the Olympic level.
