The Sam Foundation for Radio and Television Broadcasting, in collaboration with the Imam Zaid bin Ali Foundation, hosted on Wednesday a cultural evening at the open-air theater in Sana’a to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

The event is part of a broader festival dedicated to honoring and praising the Prophet.

The evening was attended by several notable figures, including Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Ayash Qahim and Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei.

Minister al-Yafei highlighted the significance of the celebration, noting that it reflects Yemen’s deep reverence for the Prophet and is marked by events across various communities from Safar to the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal.

Al-Yafei also expressed hope that the celebration’s spirit would extend to the occupied provinces, contrasting this with criticisms of other regions’ celebrations.

He remarked on the perceived discrepancy between Islamic values and certain practices in other areas.
