The Mecha Robot” exhibition, showcasing Yemeni creativity and inventions by the graduates of the eighth batch of the Mechatronics Department at Sana’a University’s Faculty of Engineering, was inaugurated on Thursday.

The exhibition featured 40 students from the academic year 2023-2024.

The exhibition highlighted innovative models created by the students, including a CNC lathe machine with a concrete structure, a multi-functional Delta robot, a general industrial communications system designed for the Yemeni industrial environment, a date molasses production machine utilizing energy, a poultry feed production system, and a machine for filling and packaging pharmaceutical strips.

The students behind these projects explained their innovations, their objectives, and the solutions they offer for fostering an industrial renaissance in Yemen.

Among the showcased inventions were methods to convert input energy from solar panels into variable output energy, a solar panel cleaning robot, a biodiesel production mach
ine, and a machine for inspecting pharmaceutical tablets.

These innovations demonstrated remarkable creativity and ingenuity, prompting admiration and curiosity about the capacity of Yemenis to achieve such projects amid ongoing aggression and the unjust siege on the country.

The event also featured a performance by the Art and Civilization Band and concluded with the honoring of graduates and supporters with certificates of appreciation.
