The Republic Club Table Tennis Championship is set to conclude on Thursday morning, after a four-day event featuring the participation of 12 clubs from various governorates, all within the celebrations commemorating the Prophet’s birthday.
Forty-eight players from twelve clubs across various governorates are competing in the tournament for their respective titles. The clubs have been allocated into four groups through a draw, in line with the Federation’s most recent rankings. Each group comprises three clubs, which will compete against each other in a round-robin league format.
The top two teams from each group advance to the final stage, the quarter-finals, which are conducted as a single-elimination knockout round to determine who reaches the final match.
The tournament is set to culminate tomorrow with the championship match featuring Al-Ahli Sana’a against Al-Nasr from Hajjah, both of whom have secured their spots in the final after a series of intense and competitive rounds.
